Teresa Answers Your Questions
"Cotton Fields" on YouTube     (Aug 2007)

Q:   NICK:   I regularly check YouTube to see if there have been any new video clips of yours added to it. Needless to say, I was thrilled to see "Cotton Fields” and “When I Leave the World Behind” there the last time I looked. I really enjoyed "Cotton Fields” and liked the way you danced with all those men backing you. And "When I Leave the World Behind” gave me chills. The ending actually gave me goose bumps. Where did this song come from? I had never heard it before. Thank you so much for all your wonderful – and versatile! – entertainment.

A:  TERESA:   “I’m pleased you liked those songs. I’d like to see those videos sometime myself. ‘When I Leave the World Behind’ is an old song. In fact, I used to sing it when I was a little girl. It was written by Irving Berlin in the 1920s and has always been a favorite of mine. In fact, I included it in my very first long-play album, Music, Music, Music (Coral).”
